Merry Christmas, and thanks for taking the time to read these liner notes. Usually in this area, I try to think of something witty and intelligent to write regarding the music you are hearing.

Unfortunately, I don't really have anything substantial to say, other than: here is my entry for my Christmas mini-album for this year, and I hope you enjoy it. Also, the tracks were all first takes, and I just played whatever came to mind. And they are a bit laid-back and solemn. And "Born Again on Christmas Day" is actually my composition.

Perhaps I do have a bit more to say. Not all the tracks are Christmas songs, per se, which is fine because my annual project is meant to be a "stocking stuffer" of sorts, containing some material of mine that you probably wouldn't hear anywhere else. Case-in point: my cover of Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do (Without You)," which probably has nothing to do with Christmas, but can be interpreted to be as such if you're the type to misconstrue musical and lyrical intent. I actually stuck this song in here as a subtle dedication for anyone who has recently experienced any type of loss - thus it is a bit of an emotional track, and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to perform this track for you all.

The TV theme medley is a bit of a throwaway - in fact, I was just messing around while leaving the record button on. After hearing it back, I decided it'd be an interesting track to include, and if people like it enough, I may do more. Which would, in turn, lead people back to this site, which is always a good thing.

And I also like what I did with the more traditional Christmas material on this EP. If you like it, it was meant for you all along.
